Itinerary Details

Day 1

Day 1 Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai – Hekou (Dinner)

12:30: The group arrives at the meeting point and boards the sleeper bus to Lao Cai – Ha Cau.

Arriving in Lao Cai: The group completes procedures to depart for Ha Khau.

Check in: Return to hotel in Hekou and check in, then have dinner at restaurant.

After dinner: At night, you are free to explore Hekou and shop at the famous underground supermarket in the border city of Hekou. This product has a wide variety and is significantly cost-effective.

Accommodation: The group had dinner and stayed overnight at the Hakau Hotel.

Day 2

Day 2 Day 2: Ha Cau - Binh Bien - Di Lac (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

07:00 – Check out and enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 – Depart for Pingyuan, visiting:

Shui Miaoxi Village 🌊🏯 – Covering 1.4 km², this village is often called the “Little Phoenix Ancient City.” It blends modern architecture with an ancient Chinese ambiance, featuring the crystal-clear waters of the Wuyang River. It is recognized as one of China’s 100 most poetic tourist destinations.

🌞 Afternoon:

Depart for Dirac, a renowned hot spring city and high-end resort in Yunnan Province.

Visit Taiping Lake Park 🌿🏞️ (Admission tickets & tram included):

A 1,200-hectare resort with over 1,000 hectares of water surface, making it one of southwest China’s largest plateau lakes.

Located 10 km from Mireuk Village, Maitreya Temple dates back to the Qing Dynasty and was restored under Emperor Qianlong’s reign.
The Maitreya Buddha Statue, standing 19.99 meters high, is the largest seated Buddha statue in the world.
The pedestal is 4.96 meters high, surrounded by white lotus flowers, symbolizing the Buddha’s pure land.
To reach the summit, visitors ascend 1,999 steps.
12:00 – The group enjoys lunch at a local restaurant.

Depart for Kien Thuy, visiting:
